The Parish Meeting Clerk’s role is to ensure meetings run smoothly and provide administrative support, including:

  • Preparation and distributions of meeting agendas, ensuring proper notice is given to the public and taking and distributing accurate minutes of the meetings.
  • Act as a point of contact for residents, other authorities and organisations.
  • Act as a liaison between Parish Meeting members, other authorities and organisations and members of the public. The clerk holds the village email list for distributing information. Emails are sent bcc to comply with GDPR.
