Parish Planning Meeting – 11th December 2025

The planning authority for Greater Cambridge is launching the consultation on the new Draft Local Plan on 1 December. This plan sets out how the planners envisage developments proceeding between now and 2045. It covers many aspects of how the environment will change, ranging from major new housing projects to a range of logistics sites along the A14 corridor. Many of these developments will directly affect Boxworth, others have the potential to change the surrounding environment.

We propose holding a Parish Planning Meeting on Thursday 11 Dec at 7.30pm in the village hall where we will present what we already know of these developments and set out what you can do to make sure your voice is heard. It is crucial that we use all the influence available to us to make sure that any developments benefit our community and do not have an unacceptable adverse effect.
